Siafu Home’s table and home goods add emphasis to any residence and demonstrate the incredible capabilities of women artisans. Founded in 2019, Siafu was named after the Swahili word for “ant” as a shoutout to all the women who lift ten times their weight in a community.
The Rangi placemats are 18.3 x 13" and draw on the natural colors we see in the savannah in Kenya. All of our placemats are hand-made from 100% cotton, which is sourced from Uganda. The placemats are hand-spun on traditional looms, helping create as low a carbon footprint as possible in their production.
Since our products are handmade by artisans, there might be natural variations to each one of them and are not product flaws. Each handmade product is truly unique.
